Easter Bunny Card Set & Box

Hey Crafters!!

I've got this really cute card set I want to share with you today. I found this really pretty Sarah Hurley stamp in my clear stamp box that I got free with a magazine a couple months ago.....if not longer. As soon as I saw it I knew it would be perfect for some Easter cards.

I haven't had much luck with my Spectrum Noir pens and almost gave up on them but decided my bunnies needed some colour and started playing about with the colours again until I was happy. I fussy cut around my bunnies and used foam pads to give them some dimension.

These took me about 5 minutes to come up with I just prepared all the colours I wanted and even made the cute box to put them in. To make the whole set of 6 and the box I think it took me about an hour to get the project finished which isn't bad if you ask me. I was definitely in the zone!

I really like how these turned out. I put in 2 of each design to make a set of 6. What do you think??

Giraffe Bookmark

Hey Crafters!!!

It's Monday again, so that means the start of another week. Today I have something a little different to show you!

After making my giraffe card for last weeks Daring Cardmakers Challenge which you can see here (if you missed it). I couldn't stop thinking about giraffes and what else I could make and so I went playing with my stash and came up with this fun bookmark.

This is what I came up with for my first attempt. How cute is he?? I love him. I was playing about with stamps and just used this thank you from my Stampin' Up - Blooming with kindness stamp set.

I just so happened to pop the bookmark next to the card and couldn't help but think what a nice gift idea this could be. The bookmark needs some ribbon or twine (I don't have any in the colours I wanted......YET!) for that finished look but I would definitely think about putting together a cute gift set with my giraffe.

What do you think?? Please feel free to leave me any comments. I love reading them.

Until Next Time, Keep Crafting.

Mini Thank You Card

Hey Crafters!!

I've got another mini card to show you today. I'm really loving making 3x3" cards. I finally used a couple of my Stampin' Up products for this dinky card and I love how it turned out. It was also my second attempt at triple step stamping and I have to admit this time it turned out much better than my first attempt here.

I used the Blooming with kindness stamp set for this card and my Tempting Turquoise ink pad. This was so easy to make. I stamped the flower onto the white card stock first then matt and layered it onto black card. used a piece of scrap white for the sentiment and cut it into a banner. Inked the edges with Tempting Turquoise and popped it up using foam pads. For that finishing touch I used a turquoise gem and put it into the 'O' from You. I hope you like it.

Challenge | Daring Cardmakers - Mellow Yellow

Hey Crafters!!

Happy Humpday! I can't believe we're mid week already, the time is flying by!

So today I wanted to share with you a couple of cards I made for the Daring Cardmakers challenge this week which is Mellow Yellow.

The first card I want to share with you was my first attempt at triple step stamping. For a first attempt it's not bad but I can see where some of my ladybirds haven't quite lined up. The card measures a dinky 3x3" and I used a spring stamp set that was FREE with Creative Stamping magazine.

This is the first card I haven't added any bling too. I did use antique linen distress ink around the edges of my white card stock.

The second card I want to share with you is a super cute Giraffe card that kind of just happened. I bought a really cute 6x6" paper stack for £1 from The Works and it's animal print. When I saw the giraffe print I grabbed my little giraffe stamp and got to work. It's simple but it works. My son LOVES Giraffes and has a comforter called Geoff!

The Giraffe card measures 5.5"x4" and I just love it. I used some brown card I had in a paper stack and some yellow cardstock. I popped up the giraffe with some foam pads and finished it with yellow and orange gems

Which one do you like?

Until Next Time, Keep Crafting.

Fairy Wishes

Hey Crafters!

Another week and I can't believe we're in March already! Spring is on it's way! YAY!!!! I can't wait for the lighter evenings.

Today's card I want to share with you is this really simple yet pretty fairy card that I created. It was one of those cards that just happened. There wasn't much thought to it and I really like how this turned out.

I made my own card base using a white textured card that measures 5.5" x 4" I added the pretty background paper which was from a Dovecraft Back To Basics 3 8x8 paper pack.

I already had some yellow and pink card stock cut down ready for matting and layering from some old card stock stacks I had lying around in my stash. I cut a strip of scrap paper and went round the edges with a silver ink pad and stamped the fairy onto my yellow piece of card added some glitter on her wings and the swirls. The fairy stamp came with a really pretty set I got FREE with the December issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.

Popped some foam pads on the back for a bit of dimension, added some faux stitching around the edge, punched a 1" circle from my scrap paper,  added the sentiment and that was it finished. I did include some pink and yellow gems for added bling. You know I love bling!

I really like how this turned out.

Until Next Time, Keep Crafting.
