Valentine's Day Cards For Work

Hey Crafters!!

Happy Friday! We've survived another week!! I hope you've all got a fab weekend planned. Today's card I want to share with you, is something I made for the lovely ladies in work.

I really like how this turned out. I made 10 of these so made them in stages. I embossed the red card using my xcut falling hearts embossing folder. Then I heat embossed the butterflies in pastel pink added the gems for that bling and fussy cut them out.

I used the butterfly stamps on the inside of the cards too for that finishing touch. I stamped the sentiment and sweet onto white card matted it onto black card and cut it into a banner, added a red ribbon for that finishing touch.

The stamps were from a Clearly Besotted set I got FREE with Simply cards and papercraft magazine.
I really enjoyed making these. I know the lovelies in work liked getting their secret valentine card. They took me a couple of days to prepare but to put together they took me about half an hour

Mini Valentine's Cards

Hey Crafters!!

I shall be bringing you another Valentine's Themed card for you today. This time though they are dinky cards. I made them 3x3 size.

These dinky cards were something I just came up with, I didn't really know what I was doing and they just sort of happened. Hehehe! I started off using some black scrap card stock I had and cut it to 3x3 size. Added some red spotty paper I had in my stash.

I stamped the I Love You sentiment onto some scrap white paper and the balloons onto red scrap paper. I added glitter to my balloons for that bling. Matted the image onto black card and cut the sentiment into a banner and used foam pads to give them a little dimension.

I couldn't decide which of the finished cards I liked best and still can't. I really like how they both turned out. For the inside I just used white paper and stamped a little heart image onto it.

Which one do you prefer??

Until Next Time, Keep Crafting.

Valentine's Day Cards

Hey Crafters!!

I know I haven't posted in a good few weeks but I will try and catch up. The next few posts from me will be Valentine's ones (Sorrrrrrryyyyyyy). But I'm still feeling inspired by the love theme.

The card I want to share with you this evening is this simple but pretty Valentine's card. It took me about 20 minutes to make from start to finish as I had the idea stuck in my head for days.

It was really easy to put together. I prepared all my "ingredients" before starting. I die cut the hearts, scalloped squares and the ticket (not sure what it is). Heat embossed I Love You, punched out the squares and butterflies.

The background paper and sentiments were a free download from Docrafts. They have some great freebies on there to download.

I made the insert using pink paper and cut a scalloped square from patterned paper and of course added red gems for that extra something.

I like how this turned out and was really impressed that it only took me 20 minutes. Hope you like it too.

Until Next Time, Keep Crafting.
